Ricks Glass provides laminated glass which provides a sound barrier from exterior noise. We have used this very often in businesses downtown Savannah in the tourist district as well as on residential homes. The most popular thickness is 9/16 for the sound barrier feature; however, there are other thicknesses available and we also install this product.
Laminated glass consists of two pieces of glass with a membrane in the middle which serves as a deterrent to breakage. It can come in tempered, annealed, heat strengthened, low-iron and in various colors.
